1st anniversary!

Atlast, we have reached our first major milestone - 1st anniversary of Golden Skills, the Senior Citizens' Workshop! What a journey it has been! Very eventful, I must say! But we are glad that we have reached this milestone and we are celebrating in our hearts!

A great big thanks to all those who made it possible - the elders who attended the workshops, my family which has supported me no end and the staff & other assistants who shared my work load.

And there is more reason to celebrate - We are launching new courses this month under a new banner - DESIGN TRENDZ. We will be conducting courses on graphic & web designing and software implementation training. The classes will be starting mid-June. Please wish us luck! We really need it!

Batch 50 & a milestone!

And with this batch, Golden Skills reaches its first big milestone - completion of 50 batches of the Senior Citizen's Computer training Workshop. It's a proud moment for me and I thank all the elders who attended this course and all the media publications and channels that supported us by giving us mileage. We hope to reach out to more elders who want to be part of the computer world and we are just eager to reach our next milestone!

And with this batch, we ended 2010. Phew! Quite a year it had been. Expanded office, started this workshop, shifted office, continued with the workshop, haggled with various workers along the way, haggled with house owners, and lots more - we are so glad the year has come to an end! We took a break for a week, shut office, enjoyed the holiday season and came back rejuvenated:)

And now here we are at the beginning of a new year, full of hope and expectations. Our new batches for the year 2011 have started and we hope to touch lot more lives this year and make them computer literate. All the blessings and wishes of our past students are cherished by us each day and we thank all of them who wished us. We have mailed  the e-card shown below and we hope they like it.
